How reading practice works

You bring the text; the tools take it apart.

1

Bring any text

Type or paste it, photograph a page, or upload a file — OCR reads scans and photos, multi-page included.

2

Translate and tap

Read the full translation, then tap any word for its meaning in that exact sentence — base form, grammatical role and translation.

3

Harvest the vocabulary

After translating, extract the words that match your level, each tagged with CEFR level and word type.

4

Save words as cards

One tap opens a ready-made, colour-coded flashcard in the full editor, saved to the deck you choose — and words you already own are marked.

Frequently asked questions

Do you provide texts to read?

No — you bring what you actually want to read; an article, a menu, homework, a book page. The camera and OCR make paper as easy as paste.

Do I need an account, and what does it cost?

The page opens as a guest, but translation and analysis are AI features — they need a free account and use AI Units from your plan. Repeat lookups of the same word come from a cache instead of costing again.

Can it read aloud?

Yes — text-to-speech for the original text, the translation and the analysis, in the voice you set for each language.

Does my reading count anywhere?

Yes — lookups, cards created and reading time are recorded and sync with your account, and the home page shows your reading minutes.
