Refund Policy
Last updated: 01.06.2026
This Refund Policy explains how refunds and cancellations work for Oropen subscriptions, Boosts, and token purchases. It is part of our Terms of Service.
The Service is operated by:

Website: https://oropen.com
Email: info@oropen.com
1. Overview
How a refund works depends on what you purchased and where you bought it:
- Tokens (OPT) and Boosts bought on our website: you can request a refund of your remaining unused token balance within 14 days of purchase. Tokens you have already used are non-refundable, because the corresponding service has already been provided. A Boost is time-limited access to extra capacity, so any Boost tokens that have already expired cannot be refunded.
- Subscriptions bought on our website: the billing period you have already started is generally non-refundable, except where required by law or granted by us at our discretion.
- Purchases made in the mobile apps (Apple App Store or Google Play): refunds are handled by Apple or Google, not by us (see section 5).
Your mandatory statutory rights as a consumer (section 2) always remain unaffected.
2. Statutory Withdrawal Right (EU / EEA Consumers)
If you are a consumer in the EU or EEA, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases:
- You may withdraw from a purchase within 14 days of your order, without giving any reason.
- When you buy tokens or a Boost, you expressly ask us to make them available to you immediately. If you withdraw within the 14-day period, we refund the value of your remaining unused tokens; the portion you have already used is non-refundable, as that part of the service has already been performed with your consent.
- For subscriptions, the right of withdrawal may be reduced in proportion to the part of the service already provided during the period.
3. How to Request a Web (Card) Refund
For tokens purchased on our website through our payment processor (Stripe):
- Go to the refund request page and choose the purchase you want to refund.
- Submit a request for your unused balance, optionally adding a reason.
- We review the request and, once approved, the refund is processed automatically back to your original payment method.
You can also contact us at info@oropen.com or via our contact page with your order details and we will assist you.
4. Cancelling a Subscription
You can cancel a subscription at any time:
- Web subscriptions: via your Oropen account settings or the customer portal provided by our payment processor.
- Google Play subscriptions: via your Google Play account → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
- Apple App Store subscriptions: via Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your iPhone or iPad.
When you cancel, your subscription stays active until the end of the current paid period, automatic renewal is turned off, and you are not charged again. The remaining time in the current period is not refunded unless required by law.
5. Refunds for In-App Purchases (Apple / Google)
If you purchased a subscription or tokens inside the iOS or Android app, the purchase was processed by Apple or Google. Their refund policies apply, and they decide and process the refund (including any partial refund), not us.
- Apple App Store: request a refund at https://reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Google Play: request a refund from your Google Play Order History.
When Apple or Google notify us that a purchase was refunded, we adjust your token balance and plan accordingly so your account stays consistent.
6. Processing Time
- Web (card) refunds: once approved, typically 5-10 business days to appear on your original payment method.
- In-app refunds: processing times follow Apple's or Google's policies.
7. Exceptional Circumstances
We may grant a refund outside the cases above, at our discretion, for example:
- significant technical issues that prevented you from using the Service;
- duplicate charges or billing errors.
To request such a refund, please contact us with your account email, the order or transaction ID (if available), the date of purchase, and a description of the issue.
